69zombieslayer here, with a simple weapons tip for you all. “Keep it simple.” Knives. Swords. And firearms are all excellent weapons against the undead. I should know I’m trained to use them. But the operative word here is TRAINED!
If you go up against a zombie horde with any of these types of weapon, you might feel like you’re invincible, but if you don’t have the training to use them correctly the only person who’ll be killed will be you. Pickaxe handles. Baseball bats. Crowbars. And other strong blunt instruments are a much better bet. As there is little skill needed to use these weapons effectively against the dead. (I’m quite fond of the crowbar myself.) These along with the best weapon for civilians dealing with zombies “avoidance” will keep you alive longer than that idiot blasting away with his 12gauge, attracting every zombie for miles around. !69zombieslayer! Out.
