In the Zompocs one of the choices you’ll have to make is whether to go at it alone, or become part of a group. If you’re planning on being a lone wolf what I’m about to say wont be of much use to you. But then again who knows.

Who are the type of people you’d want in your zombie survival group? First off you’ll want someone with medical knowledge. Doctors. Nurses. Paramedics. Pharmacists. People who know how to deal with illness. Injuries. Know where to find medication. antibiotics. And other medical equipment.

Farmers. Gardeners. People who know how to grow fruits. Vegetables. Herbs.etc.

Tradesmen like carpenters. Builders. People who can improve your compounds defenses. Build shelters, and fix problems.

Mechanics to keep vehicles running. To tell you where to find, and get parts on your scavenging runs.

Military veterans. Law enforcement officers. People who’ve been in high pressure combat situations. Can keep a cool head, and have training in how to deal with scared, frightened, shocked people.

Survivalists, and I’m not talking about the type of person who’ll be dressed in camo gear. Wearing sunglasses. Carrying an AR15. And picked up a few cool phrases from the internet. You’ll be able to tell these twats quickly because they’ll love themselves and  the sound of their voice. They will be desperate to be the person in charge. So beware of these people. Personally I recommend you shoot these idiots on sight.
The survivalists I’m talking about are those people with an all-round knowledge of many useful things. If you’re none of these people don’t worry. If you’re prepared to work hard, and get your hands dirty I’m sure there will be plenty of things you can do.

The Zompocs will be a great leveler. You may notice that certain members of our society aren’t in my list. Mainly the rich, famous, or powerful. There will be little use for politicians. Thank God. Wealthy bone headed sports stars, unless they’re prepared to shovel some shit. But will their egos let them? I doubt it. Bankers. Only if you need someone to distract the zombies. Pretty much anyone that gets their money by lying, cheating and stealing need not apply. So if you’re a rich business person get your shelter built and fully stocked NOW! Because when zed day comes along all that money of yours won’t count for shit. That private security firm you’ve hired to protect you will either disappear or they will toss you out of your shelter, and take it for themselves. So have a good long internal debate about that Donald Trump. Yes I’m talking to you and people like you. The zeds won’t waste their time with a “YOU’RE FIRED!”
